Ride Soon?
Just suggested we ride part of T1, going through the desert to Arco. I'd love to do that soon since we don't have to wait for snow to melt anywhere. I wonder if we could ride in one day from American Falls to Challis, then camp that night at Challis Hot Springs.

The next trip is July 7-9, just over 3 weeks away.
I haven't yet decided between two possibilities.
Option A is the "T2" which is 600 miles of dirt roads that stretch east to west across Southern Idaho.
Option B is a 3 day excursion out into the Nevada desert and mountains.
I'll provide more details in the next week or two, but anyone wanting to ride will need a dual sport bike or a street legal dirt bike. Anything smaller than a 450 is probably too small to put that many higher speed miles on.
I'm also hoping to do a ride around central Idaho and Montana in late August or September, but don't have dates for that ride yet.

We had been planning on riding in the Mojave Desert during the third week of this month. I am not able to do so. If you still want to ride there I'd be happy to supply you with the information I've already gathered (like GPS tracks).
Justin suggested that we maybe just do a brief ride in Moab like we've done in the past, and I think I can pull that off. Here is what I am planning on. It is brief, so if some of you want to stay longer you can ride in a separate group so you can keep your own schedule.
Moab
When:
Thurs March 17th leave around noon to drive down to Moab and find a camping spot
Friday 18th ride
Saturday 19th ride
Saturday night or Sunday drive home
That's only two days of riding. Last time we did this we felt like two days was well worth the effort. If two days doesn't seem worth it, again, you can stay longer.
We did the same thing last March. We got a great camping spot, but bring camping stuff enough to be warm, it got into the high 30s at night.
Let me know when you can if you think you'd like to go.

Mark met Greg and I in Moab so he could ride with us and get his bike back. Rob S. came along with his friend Shane just to hang out and see the area. Here are a couple of pics from the riding. We rode most of the White Rim Trail, then turned around and rode back out (due to the road being washed out).
